Run for Life aids teacher after heart transplant at Baylor
Eagle Ridge Middle School PTA sponsored a 8:20 to 8:50 am Run for Life on the track to fund Christina Tucker's transplant costs. Tucker, a seventh grade science teacher, had a heart transplant Thursday in Dallas after hypertrophic cardiomyopathy left her on a waiting list. The event drew 70 plus participants and raised over 3000 in donations with business sponsors including Chili’s pledge day profits. Tucker will remain in Dallas about three months post surgery and then regular follow ups. Funds target 84000 with 11007 raised and a Wells Fargo account set up for community donations.

A Park Above aims to open in Rio Rancho this August
