The City of Rio Rancho Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful and the Loma Colorado Main Library host a Tree Seedling Giveaway on Saturday March 21 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Loma Colorado back patio. Species include Austrian pine Gambel oak lacebark elm and buffalo berry. Limit three seedlings per resident with proof of residency. Placitas Library Labyrinth Dedication and Benefit Event

Placitas Community Library invites the public to a March 21 dedication of its volunteer built labyrinth on library grounds with outdoor music by Placitas Artists Series and refreshments from Jardineros de Placitas. A 5 PM fundraiser inside benefits Casa Rosa with a suggested donation of 10 per person or 15 per couple. Sophia's Giving Circle supplied beverages.
