UNM SRMC clears final hurdle to open Monday
After a one week delay UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center will begin operations at its new Rio Rancho facility on Monday with outpatient services ahead of inpatient care planned for July 9. The DOH granted a temporary occupancy and an outside agency will assess policies over the next two months as 350 staff join to open the hospital. A 6 by 30 foot mural from a Zia pueblo artist, costing 10000, will be unveiled Wednesday.
