Meals on Wheels volunteers bring meals and smiles to Albuquerque

Volunteers like Richard Viramontes deliver hot lunches to residents in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque. The program serves older clients with customized meals and offers a low income option, with 130 currently free meals and 30 waiting. Annual fundraising and volunteer support fuel the operation which delivered 120000 meals last year and counts 400 volunteers and 18 staff.
