Sunrise Village plan approved by Rio Rancho P Z

The Rio Rancho Planning and Zoning Commission endorsed an amended Sunrise Village retirement development on Meadowlark Lane after lowering density and building height from five stories to three. Former Rio Rancho mayor declines comment on no charges

West Side Boys and Girls Club opens at Lincoln Middle School

The West Side branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Albuquerque opens next Monday at Lincoln Middle School from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Initiated by Kiwanis Northwest Albuquerque and supported by United Way of Greater Albuquerque, the club offers programs in recreation, education, and social activities for youths ages 6 to 18 through July 31 with modest dues and ongoing staff supervision.
