Corrales artists form cooperative gallery in Corrales

Corrales area artists have formed a cooperative and opened the Corrales Bosque Gallery to showcase clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, and more. The gallery at Mercado de Maya, 4685 Corrales Road, will hold a September 2 grand opening with a Harvest Festival on October 14 and a holiday event on November 18.

Taste of Corrales Aims to Benefit ACS Fundraiser

The second Taste of Corrales benefits the American Cancer Society. Held Saturday August 13 from 1 to 4 PM, the event features area restaurants pairing dishes with wines selected with Richard Regensberg of Richard Distributing. Arturo Jaramillo will host. Tickets cost 15 dollars for singles and 25 dollars for couples and include food, wine, live entertainment, door prizes, and a live auction. Tickets available at the American Cancer Society office on Lomas NE or Prudential Preferred Properties on Corrales Road. For more information call 262-2333.
