Chick-fil-A to Open Rio Rancho Location in December
Chick-fil-A will open its first Rio Rancho restaurant this December at a 4,700 square foot site on the east side of Unser Boulevard just south of Southern Boulevard. The restaurant aims to hire about 80 employees and is the seventh Chick-fil-A in New Mexico, with four in Albuquerque and two in Las Cruces. Construction began in late June by Panterra Construction. Mayor Gregg Hull welcomed the move saying it will create jobs and draw more dining options to the Unser/Southern area, helping capture revenue streams locally.

Dog adoption events grow at park site in city program
Garcia notes the project cost 3560 from the parks budget for vinyl coated fencing from Albuquerque Fence. The dog park area remains open to the public except during events and offers good parking. Galarneau says the setup lets dogs act naturally and lets owners see how their dogs react to a prospective new pet. Adoption events at the High Resort site, ten minutes from the shelter, are city insured and allow on site payments. Dogs chosen are sterilized vaccinated micro chipped and licensed and slip leashes are provided.
