Westside Boulevard phase two starts Monday
Work begins Monday on phase two of the Westside Boulevard project with three weeks of intermittent lane closures from Unser Boulevard to Golf Course Road. Construction runs 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 3 pm Friday, with completion anticipated in October. The plan includes bridge work for eastbound lanes, top lift asphalt finishing, signing and striping from the bridge west to Unser, creating a four lane section from Golf Course to Unser.

Two lawyers were named to the New Mexico Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission. Anita Sanchez of Sanchez & Pifton in Rio Rancho and Joseph Arite of Grants join the seven lawyers and eight non lawyers on the nonpartisan panel created in 1997 to evaluate judge performance and aid voters in retention elections. Scam drains 12K from Rio Rancho woman in two days
