Mountainview Retirement Center plan eyed by Rio Rancho Council
Rio Rancho officials meet at City Hall to discuss a 222 unit rental retirement facility on 18 acres near Meadowlark Senior Center. The $25 million project would use tax exempt bonds and include six villas and two four story buildings with 200 construction jobs and 60 permanent positions. Southwest Land Research projects demand from about 4,500 qualifying households and an aging population rising to 6,400 by 1994.
