City Council to discuss blight designation for retirement center site

The council plans to review a Sept 25 1991 resolution redefining City Administrator Bud Bentley contract and consider a blight designation for 18 acres near Meadowlark Senior Center. The 222 unit rental retirement facility is projected to cost about 25 million with tax exempt revenue bonds. Further council action is required to approve the project.
