Lincoln students learn prison life from West Side corrections unit
West Side facility officers visited Lincoln with gear and testimonies to educate 8th graders about jail versus prison. They demonstrated restraints and weapons, described inmate rules, and shared personal histories to stress choices and consequences while urging students to stay in school and avoid incarceration.
