Sandoval County seeks disaster declaration after blizzard
Sandoval County commissioners urged Gov Garvey Carruthers to declare parts or all of the county a disaster area after a blizzard from Jan 16 to 19. Areas named include Cuba the Jemez Valley upper regions and areas near the Sandia Mountains. The board also renewed Pat Bacas county manager contract and set up a new five member personnel board.
