Police arrest suspect tied to stalking case at Rio Rancho motel
Two Rio Rancho Police vehicles blocked Grande Boulevard near the Howard Johnson as officers arrested 39 year old Christopher Banegas on Albuquerque Police warrants for aggravated burglary and aggravated stalking. Lt. Paul Rogers II said Banegas reported being stalked by a man with a gun after a call last Thursday, but investigators found no crime by the other man and Banegas fled before contact.

Man barricades with injured boy after domestic disturbance
Rio Rancho police say Brent Hudson 23 barricaded inside a home with a four year old boy after threats to kill officers.
