Former Rio Rancho mayor Pat D Arco dies at 91
Pat D Arco who led Rio Rancho as mayor from 1990 to 1994 and helped widen NM 528, oversee land buys for Esther Bone Library and Rio Rancho High School, died after a lengthy illness at age 91. A native New Yorker, he remained active on city boards and was remembered as a pioneer and mentor by colleagues and the mayor.
