Conflicting duties may bar judge from extra paid work
The decision section states a judge cannot hold other paid positions conflicting with duties and must devote required hours. Browning notes the October advisory letter stands as the AG office opinion, prepared by Bardacke's office, not Stratton's. Stratton can review only if requested by a current elected official. Conner lacks such a request, risking appointment by the Sandoval County Commission if he cannot serve as probate judge.
