Don’t Stay Inside Get Those Kids Outside on a Hike

A seasonal nudge to take the family outdoors with proper prep. Kids Story Time Returns at Esther Bone Library

The Bone Story Time resumes for children ages 3 to 6 on Thursday at 10 am at Esther Bone Memorial Library. The 30 minute sessions feature stories songs puppets and finger plays with adults required for 3 year olds and older children attending 4 to 6-year-olds alone. The winter spring session runs through April 23 and February activities include winter popcorn bubbles and robots. Beginners bring US size 7 knitting needles and a skein of 4 ply acrylic yarn.

Multiple youth programs announced at Loma Colorado Main Library and Esther Bone Memorial Library. Activities include an appy experiment stop motion and more for ages 8 12 Mondays through March 2. Knit Clique for grades 5 and up on Tuesdays starting Jan 6. Beep and Bop music and movement for ages 1 5 with caregiver moving to Fridays through April 24. Registration opens by phone or in person with details and locations.

Wacky Wednesdays offer hands on science crafts movies and games at 3 p.m. weekly through April 29. Toddler stories songs and activities run at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays or Thursdays through April 30. A lapsit for babies and caregivers at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays runs through April 29. A music and movement program for kids up to age five and caregivers also at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays through April 27. No registration required.
