Police arrest boy after home invasion standoff
A juvenile broke into a neighbor’s home on Buckskin Loop threatening the resident with a knife and triggering a rapid police response. Officers surrounded the boy’s home and arrested him about 30 minutes later. No injuries reported. The youth was booked into Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center on felony charges of aggravated assault and aggravated burglary and a misdemeanor for possession of alcohol.
