Mother of two dies in shooting in Rio Rancho
Chelsea Goupil 29 of Rio Rancho was fatally shot in the face on December 23 by her 34 year old brother in what police say may have been accidental. Officers dispatched to 300 block Aldalia Circle near Idalia and Unser collected evidence, interviewed witnesses, and noted no alcohol involvement. No charges have been filed as the investigation leans toward an accidental shooting.

UNM West building funding moves to GO bond
