Rio Rancho board meets for short agenda after state title honor

Rio Rancho Public Schools Board of Education meets Monday at 5 30 p m for a brief agenda including a recognition of the Rio Rancho High School football state champions and discussion of an early college partnership with UNM West. A Rio Rancho man, Robert Padilla, 72, was fatally injured Tuesday when his pickup left an icy Interstate 25 road and struck a tree. he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Westside water line projects head to Rio Rancho vote

The Rio Rancho Governing Body will consider a 1.6 million contract with G Sandoval Construction to widen Westside Boulevard from Golf Course Road to Unser Boulevard and construct a bridge at Black Arroyo Last Branch Channel, with work slated March to October 2015.
