Rio Rancho Elementary Site Heads to APS Board January 4
The new modular elementary school site in Rio Rancho will go before Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education on January 4 for final approval. Project cost about 2.4 million dollars for 700 to 900 students, with over 150,000 cubic yards of fill donated by AMREP Southwest Inc. APS to pay transport and regrading costs exceeding 500,000 dollars. Construction hoped to start January 1990 and school opening planned for August 1990.

Bentley will start around January 30 1989 after signing a 45000 dollar annual contract in West Palm Beach Florida.
