The Rio Rancho City Council revised procedures for business registrations. Starting Jan 1 1989 the annual fee is 35 and all businesses including home occupations must register with the City Clerk by March 15 each year. Bentley Accepts West Palm Beach Official to Lead Rio Rancho
Ralph Bentley the current assistant city manager in West Palm Beach Florida agreed to a 45000 per year contract as city administrator for Rio Rancho Mayor Grover Nash announced. The contract includes minor changes and will preserve money and fringe benefits. Bentley who has served since 1986 listed reorganizing departments hiring six directors reducing departments from 18 to 12 and installing curbs sidewalks and drainage in a low income neighborhood as on his resume. He plans to sign and mail the contract and Nash expects to sign soon with start date to be determined.
