Rio Rancho Officials Split Over Audit and Budgets

Mall project advances with 1500 workers planned

Construction began in March at the Coors Road and Coors Bypass site for a new mall. Universal Constructors, Inc. serves as sitework contractor. The project aims to employ about 1500 workers at peak and create roughly 3000 full and part time jobs, with Simon expected to announce the remaining stores this spring.
