School Board Benefits From Generous Contributions And Planning Team
The board accepted a 90 000 gift for seven city schools and a plan to form a Strategic Planning Team with diverse representation. Members will meet in Tijeras in January to set goals. Concerns about parent participation and Asian American representation led to adding one more Asian descent member. The team includes Mayors, senators, educators, and community leaders. several positions remain unfilled.
