Police search fails to find suspect after Christine Drive threat
Rio Rancho police scoured the Christine Drive area Friday night for a man who allegedly threatened his wife with scissors. The man fled after the threat. the search involved locksmithing the neighborhood and APD helicopter for help, but no suspect was located. The Juliette RP Vision Foundation will hold its Run for Vision on Saturday Aug 15 at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center with a 5K run and family events to fund scholarships and vision research. Registration is 40 dollars for individuals or 30 dollars per person for teams of four or more, 10 dollars for ages 12 and under.
