Lukens to Sell Rio Rancho Plant Amid Losses
Lukens Medical Corp plans to sell its 34,000 square foot Rio Rancho manufacturing facility in New Mexico after reporting a 1994 second quarter pre tax loss of 448,000 and an after tax loss of 448,000 or 17 cents per share. The company cites lower revenues from its specialty surgical products and restructuring costs while expanding alliances in cardiovascular and ophthalmic markets.
