City utility warned on quarterly trihalomethane sampling
New Mexico Environment Department notified Rio Rancho Utilities Corp that it failed to take required water samples for trihalomethanes in the last quarter of 1994. RRUC general manager Ken Komiske called the notice a sampling violation with no health hazard, noting long-standing compliance since 1981.
