Rudi 5K Run in Las Cruces Honors Wrestler Lost to Cancer
A 5K benefit on Saturday in Las Cruces marks Kevin Rudi's memory, raising funds for the Kevin Rudi Foundation to fund sarcoma research. Rudi, a Rio Rancho High School athlete and former AAHS wrestler, died last fall after a two year battle with an aggressive sarcoma. The event traces his New Mexico State University campus path, honors his rugby cheerleading and leadership, and aims to boost awareness and research funding through NMNCI and other programs.
