Burglary Trends Reported in Rio Rancho in 1985

The April 1985Observer notes 35 residential and five commercial burglaries in Rio Rancho, with expected annual risk to about 40 families and 20 businesses. Most break-ins occur in daylight and are linked to narcotics addicts from Albuquerque. 30 percent have been cleared after arrests.

RRHS Engineering Camp For Girls Builds Solar Car Skills

Rio Rancho High School offers a summer day camp for incoming freshman and sophomore girls. The program, funded by an Intel grant, covers solar car design, paper and tape shelters, and basic programming.
