Former county manager denied severance pay in 1982 ruling
The Rio Rancho Observer recalls in 1982 that former Sandoval County Manager John Brown was denied 90 days severance pay and a request for firing- due process clarification was dismissed as a closed case by the Sandoval County Commission after his five months in office. The county attorney stated no contract existed and no further action would be taken.
