Judge Brown considers a possible two day extension for the 90 day deadline to acquire RRUC. City officials insist the 53 million deposit and takeover occur simultaneously at 5 p.m. on day 90. If not, RRUC could cease to exist and water service may be interrupted. Jurisdiction questions by the PUC could delay the process. deposit interest and bond protections are debated among ARUC and city attorneys.
