YW Conference Highlighted by Woesthampton Delegates

Dr. Douglas 8 Freeman editor of the Richmond News Leader will address opening convocation at Cannon Memorial Chapel today at noon. An academic procession from Administration Building to the Chapel begins at 12 30 with remarks by President F. W. Boatwright. Campus Frats Begin Rushing September 29
Open season for rushing by the eleven social fraternities on the Richmond College campus will commence Saturday September 29 at 8 P M lasting until midnight of the following Monday. Each group will explain to a selected number of new men the qualities of their organizations and invite the chosen ones to join their chapters. The interfraternity rushing rules must be strictly adhered to by both members and rushees to prevent misdate.

University Band Secures Funds and Plans Uniforms
The Student Government Association approved funds for band uniforms. The University Band met on September 17 at the YMCA building with Ridgeway as leader. Uniforms are expected to arrive by the second football game as the group grows to about forty members.

Student Governments Present Dance at Two Colleges
Tomorrow night from 9 to 12 the Millhiser Gymnasium will host a joint dance and social by the student government associations of Richmond and Westhampton Colleges. Law School Updates Curriculum For 1984 85 Session
The 1984 85 law school term began September 11 with new matriculants. Curriculum changes raise the degree requirement from 72 to 80 semester hours and add courses in Common Law Actions and Secured Creditors. Tort hours increase to six, and Conflict of Laws doubles to four semester hours. Professor Muse re joins to teach Tort.
