Freshmen to Tour Richmond Meet Governor and Mayor
About 150 Richmond College freshmen will tour the city Sunday with 12 social fraternities handling transport. They will meet Governor Bartle at the State Capitol and Richmond Mayor Haddock, then visit sites including the Capitol Square Lee Statue Poe Shrine and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. A police escort and inter-car radio link will coordinate the 60 cars.

Editor notes launch a series on University travelers. Dean Marguerite Roberts spent a month in London and Paris visiting English, Canadian, and American friends. She saw six plays in London including South Pacific and Call Me Madam and toured Hatfield House.
