Cooperation brings Plain and Fancy to campus November 20 21
The University plans a full production of Plain and Fancy with cooperation from all arts divisions. Rehearsals on campus lead to final performances off campus in a city high school auditorium. Stage roles and crew staff are sought from leads chorus costumes building lighting publicity and orchestra with names to contact Bar ura Worrell Jack Welsh or Bill Smith.

Graduation exercises begin Sunday June 7 at 7 30 pm with a Baccalaureate service in Gannon Memorial Chapel led by Rev Woodrow W Clark of the First Baptist Church in Royal Oak Michigan. Monday features a 3 50 to 4 50 pm senior reception in Keller Hall followed by commencement at 7 30 led by President Colgate W Darden of the University of Virginia.

Athletic Association Banquet Set For May 20 Honors Varsity Letter Winners
The annual Athletic Association Banquet will be held May 20 in the court dining hall at 6 30 p m Invitations will be mailed. Girls earning varsity letters in three sports will receive white blazers. Other varsity participants and class cheerleaders will be honored. Individual track awards will also be presented.

Dormitory Infirmary Dedication At University

Freshmen Plant Maple Tree in Westhampton Ceremony
Westhampton freshmen held a double ceremony featuring a tree planting and a birthday party. Kitty Borum presented a maple tree to the University, accepted by Dr. George Modlin. Each student cast a shovel of dirt while deans and the advisor watched.

Tryouts Scheduled In Greek Theatre For Cheerleaders
Tryouts for next year's University cheerleaders will be held on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at 4 30 in the Greek Theatre. Three girls and three boys will be chosen to fill vacancies. Qualifications require one year as a West Hampton cheerleader and good academic standing as a sophomore or junior. Students from Richmond College or the Business School urged to try out.

Big Little Sisters Banquet for 1959 and 1961 Classes
The Westhampton College Big Little Sister banquet for the classes of 1959 and 1961 will be held on Thursday May 21. Each class sponsor will receive a gift and every sophomore will get a circle pin plus a special pillow. The 1960 and 1962 groups held their gathering on May 12 with a sing on the green.
