Due to gas rationing, men will dress informally as girls keep formal gowns, and streetcar travel is eased for attendees. Interfraternity Council votes to inaugurate lottery system
The Interfraternity Council unanimously approved a lottery plan to assign eleven fraternities to two parties with the remaining to the smaller group. Kinsey of Sigma Phi Epsilon proposed the method and The Collegian had pressed for it for two months. The drawing will occur next fall with several fraternities already aligned in the cooperative.
