Patricia Testerman, a Richmond VA native and Bluefield College transfer, performs her senior piano recital at 6 16 in Keller Hall. The program features Chambonnieres Chaconne, Beethoven in B flat, Bartok Romanian Polka Dances, Debussy preludes, and Brahms Scherzo in E flat minor. She is active in University Chorus, Men’s Glee Club, and leads the Music Club and Young Women’s Auxiliary. Public invited.

Forensic Council Elects Fred Sale President
At its final meeting of the year the Forensic Council elected Frederick Sale Jr a Richmond College junior as next year's president. Sale has led the 5 C Mitchell Literary Society and is president of Phi Delta Theta. Ned Heite, from Dover Delaware, was chosen secretary and treasurer after two terms as vice president of the Philologian Literary Society.

Alumni Weekend kicks off tomorrow with Faculty Frolics billed as a giant show. Veteran professors will perform skits to prove vaudeville is alive. The day features a Glee Club on the lawn, a 2:00 baseball game with William and Mary, open house, and evening events after alumni registration at 8:30.

Westhampton Allows Bermudas With Pool Fund Donation
For the first time in Westhampton history students may wear bermudas on campus after contributing 40 cents to the swimming pool fund. Girls payers gain entry to meals and classes on both lake sides, with deans approving the policy and the pool committee enforcing it via paid buttons. Chairman Bm St. Clair leads the three year pool project in cooperation with the Alumnae.

Seniors Sneak Away on Mount Olympus Beach Trip
About forty Westhampton seniors left for a beach trip on Sneak Day Monday. Despite a chilly windy day the sun shone and most returned with early tans. The group woke at 6:45 a.m. to bells, spent the day at the beach with games and charades, and returned by 7:30 p.m. The plan involved months of secrecy with about 80 students in on the ruse.

Conway Wins Quiz Finals Amid Tied Top Prize
Bruce Conway a Hampton Virginia high school senior won 2500 in the University of Richmond WRNL Radio Scholarship quiz finals in a run off with Elaine Robertson of Highland Springs high school. Robertson and Jean Atkins of Windsor high school each received 1500 as runners up.

Miss Gloria Walker Resigns to Become Dean at Judson College
Miss Gloria Walker, Westhampton Religious Activities Director since 1955, will resign in June to assume the role of dean of women at Judson College in Alabama. Her years at Westhampton included advisor duties, revival team liaison, retreat chaperone, confidant to students, and YWCA support.
