Versatile Band To Play Greek Week Dance In Richmond
Charlie Barnet and his twelve piece orchestra will perform for a concert and dance on Saturday April 16 in the Greek Theater. Tickets for the concert are 1 per person and the combined concert and dance cost 4.40 per couple. Featured vocalist will be Trudy Richards from The Frank Sinatra Show with Barnet’s band noted for jazz and standards. The event, sponsored by the Inter-Fraternity Council, will draw students from Washington and Lee and other colleges.

Moytar Board and Omicron Delt Kappa sponsor a Leadership Conference for newly elected officers on April 5 and 6. Sessions in Kelley Hall include position based discussions with faculty advisors. Senate Allocates Funds for University Choir Trip
In the 1954 55 session the Richmond College Senate approved 75 dollars for the University Choir. The funds plus allocations from Westhampton College and the School of Business Administration will cover transportation to Norfolk to perform with the Norfolk Symphony. New projects included a loan fund pencil sharpener installation and arena bus service along with budget approval.
