Dormitory Proposal Plans for Westhampton Lake Site

The Board of Trustees will consider tentative plans for a new women dormitory overlooking Westhampton Lake. The Gothics style W shaped facility would house about 260 students, with an alternate site as an extension of South Court.

Julian Bond to Speak at UR on Race Relations

Julian Bond a black Georgia state representative and NAACP executive committee member will speak Thursday in Gannon Memorial Chapel. His topic Collision Course in a Divided America will be discussed under the sponsorship of the University Student Union. Bond helped found the Committee on Appeal for Human Rights.

SAC Endorses Dorm Visitation Plan at Richmond College

The Schools' Student Affairs Committee backed a plan allowing women visitors 18 and older in dorms on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays on a two month probation. Residents must sign in and out and keep room doors open. A minimum semester suspension for violations is proposed.
