Carver a noted teacher at the School of Missions of the Baptist Theological Seminary Louisville Kentucky has been secured to conduct chapel services next Monday March 4 through Dr. Rudd Chapel Committee chairman He holds an M A from Richmond College and has traveled widely in South America He is described as a speaker of unusual interest The following Wednesday March 6 President Boatwright will conduct the service.

Ministerial Students Banquet Set For Tonight At William Byrd Hotel
The Ministerial Association hosts its annual banquet at 7:80 PM in the William Byrd Hotel. Fifty tables are reserved for couples as the event features T Eugene West as principal speaker, formerly of Richmond College and ex-president of the association, now a supply pastor at Ashland Baptist Church. The program includes a welcome address, violin and vocal solos, and a benediction.

A Richmond debate team of EL Honts R N Sanford and R P Johnson defeated Rutgers and George Washington University on back to back nights in Washington DC and Brunswick NJ. The topic urged free trade reciprocity with any nation. Each side used three speakers with ten minute main speeches and five minute rebuttals.
