Inter-fraternity Basketball Plans Set By Council
The Inter-fraternity Council met in the Faculty room to finalize inter-fraternity basketball and the rule on spending money on freshmen before rushing. Coach Dobson will award a silver loving cup to the league champion, and each fraternity must supply its own uniforms. A strict interpretation of the rule on freshmen funding was decided.

Basketball dominated a Junior Class meeting in Room A last Monday with William Holladay named manager. About fifteen boys tried out for the team as the first game is set against the Seniors on Tuesday January 22 with five more contests following through February and March 5.

University of Delaware to Erect Mitchell Hall Auditorium
The University of Delaware will build Mitchell Hall an auditorium named for Dr. S C Mitchell former president of the University of Richmond. The $250000 gift from H Rodney Sharp funds 200000 for construction and equipment and 50000 for an endowment. Groundbreaking delayed to late March as architect Charles Klauder returns from Europe in February.

Debating Team Trials Set by Faculty Judges

Semester exams set for West Hampton Richmond Colleges
Examinations for the first semester of 1928 29 begin Thursday January 24 and run through Saturday February 2. Each exam lasts three hours with schedules for English I term tests on January 25 and Mathematics on January 28. The St Kit’s Players of St Christopher’s school will stage The Pedagogue by W Boyce Loving alumni of the University of Richmond.
