University of Richmond Summer Abroad Medieval History Course

The 1966 University of Richmond Summer School offers a five week study abroad in Europe titled Europe in the Middle Ages. It includes country tours from June 13 to July 18 with visits to Athens Rome Florence Venice Paris London and more. The three semester hour course History 303 or 403 covers Byzantium Islam feudal society and early modern Europe with a total price of 1185 including transportation accommodations tours and two daily meals.

Rides Offered By The Tip-Off Club For UR-Citadel Game

The Tip-Off Club offers bus transportation to the University of Richmond Citadel game. First bus departs North Court barrier at 5 45 pm and reaches Refectory at 5 55 pm for Richmond College students. A second bus leaves at 7 00 pm from the barrier and 7 15 pm from the Refectory. Round trip fare is 25 cents.

Congressman Satterfield Presents Capitol Flag to Cadets

Representative David J. Satterfield of Virginia's Third District presented a flag flown over the national Capitol to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadets. The ceremony occurred at Millhiser Field at 1:20 pm, with Edward Grove, president of Scabbard and Blade, receiving the flag.

UC to Hold Conference on International Living

A University College conference on the International Living experiment runs Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. Dr William Eagles opens with a welcome, featuring Lars Carlin Miss Nancy Pace and Mary Lou Shields. Sessions include reviews, talks, and workshops led by John Anthony Moncure Norie Burnet and Gordon Burnet.

SGA Profits From Ian and Sylvia Concert at Richmond

Richmond College student government treasurer Pitt Godwin reported a small profit of $4.60 from the December 4 Ian and Sylvia concert. The event netted $1,806 from ticket sales, marking the first profitable show in three years, with the last being Dave Brubeck in 1962-63.
