Yale Program by Drama Group at Quons Hut Theater

Alpha Psi Omega presents a Christmas program at Quonset Hut Theater after the University Christmas party in Keller Hall. The feature is The Second Shepherds Play with Bob Music John Farrar Ellen Sanderson as shepherds, Mak played by Bob Dilly Gill by Cheryl Lizette, and the angel by Gene Snow with Fran Stewart as Mary. Orchesis performs a modern dance interpretation of the Christmas Story. Dr David Sanders will describe the play. admission is 25 cents at the door. Cheryl Lirette directs.

Students Initiated Into Pi Sigma Alpha And Phi Alpha Theta

A Sunday ceremony in Keller Hall initiated 15 University students into the national political science fraternity Pi Sigma Alpha and the history fraternity Phi Alpha Theta. Phi Alpha Theta topped juniors Kathleen Anderson Jessica Peni more Lois Robinson Jacqueline Lassiter and senior Margaret Jennings plus RG juniors William F. Schenck Jr Douglas Davis and Eugene Sanchez-Saavedra. Pi Sigma Alpha led six seniors Linda Davis William Jobe William F. Schenck Jr Warren Winter Larry Browning and Marcus Minton and graduate student Daniel Dye.

University of Richmond Choir and Chamber Orchestra Concert

The University of Richmond Choir and Chamber Orchestra present a double program at 8:30 p.m. in Gannon Memorial Chapel. The Chamber Orchestra, led by Dr. Frederick Neumann, opens with Bach and Handel featuring Bach Orchestral Suite No. 1 in D major with woodwind solos by Judy Miles, Sally Claycomb, and Melvin Solomon. The Schutz Christmas Story follows with soloists Lindsey Peters, Bob Butler, Tom Montgomery, Bob Saunders, Joe Northen, three wise men, and three shepherds, accompanied by organ and cello. Portions may be re searched for NRG to be broadcast on Voices of Christmas.

First Edition of Messenger To Be Distributed Next Week

The campus literary magazine Messenger will publish a 48 page issue themed around art work. It features Huston Smith on science and the human spirit, a poetry section, a short story Sponge Layer Cake by Frank Cervarich, Monti Basgall essay Aology of a Traitor, and Chi Chi Whitehead cartoon.

Student Directory Room Delivery Starts Tonight

The Student Directory will be delivered to men dormitory students today and to Westhampton students Monday and Tuesday. Westhampton distribution occurs in Keller Hall from 9 30 a m to 2 30 p m with Mentown pickups from Guy L Scott on the third floor of the Student Center after today. Faculty members may buy copies from Scott while Alpha Phi Omega members handle deliveries.

Williams Miller To Lead Debate On Campus Forum

Two Richmond College students will lead the Campus Forum debate at 7 30 p m Tuesday in the Student Center Del Williams will lead the affirmative discussion on Resolved There can be no absolute standard of morality Marvin Miller will argue the negative Dr Jerry Turner in charge of the Forum said two more debates will be held this Spring Suggestions for topics should be sent to his office in the faculty building

Virus Invades UR Campus with About 200 Ill

About 200 University of Richmond students were treated at campus infirmaries this week for nausea and stomach cramps from a gastro intestinal illness. Nurse Mrs. Thomas Tinsley called it a stomach upset while refectory officials said health checks found no food poisoning.

Richmond students given sideline seats for Furman Citadel games

Cecil Jones announced University of Richmond students may sit in Sections D and E on the east arena sideline tonight and the end zone for Furman and Citadel games before Christmas. He said these seats will not be available for the Davidson West Virginia and Virginia Tech games later in the year.
