Collegian Seeks Social Rule Revisions at University

The Collegian requests changes to four existing social rules and removal of five as unnecessary. Proposals include extending campus dance hours to one, easing off campus dance approvals, streamlining advance scheduling, and dropping rules on chaperones liquor on premises smoking on the floor and Friday night limits. The plan aims to modernize student social life while presenting to the University Social Committee next week.

PDE Convention In Session At Pittsburgh 1933

Stevenson Named Debate Coach for Richmond College Forensic Council

Dr. S. W. Stevenson associate professor of English has been appointed debate coach for the Richmond College Forensic Council. Richard McCrone manager of debates announced six colleges scheduled this season with the first debate at home February 15 or 16 against Roanoke College. Johns Hopkins University Davidson College College of William and Mary Lynchburg College and Bridgewater College will join in a Tau Kappa Alpha governed discussion on two recently adopted questions.

Richmondly Dominates Wasps 13-0 to Close Season

University of Richmond defeats previously undefeated Emory and Henry Wasps 13 to 0 in mud soaked stadium play. Leverton, Propps, Chastain and Vaughan key the offense while Harold Joyce adds the extra point securing the late third quarter tally. The win leaves the Virginia conference race in a three way tie among William and Mary, Richmond, and Emory and Henry.
