Joe Nettles Incarcerated In Madhouse

Publicity director and alumni secretary at the University was locked in a basement office overnight and sent to a hospital after a nerve shattering episode in the Administration Building. The incident involved professors Ball Stevenson and Peple and a dime that allegedly triggered the escape. Details are sparse as reported by campus mailman Ed.

Miss Rosie Kemmer schmeltz of Mast Peoria Illinois has been signed as housemother for the Beta Beta Chapter of Gappa Sigma per Johnny Crews serjeant at arms announcement. She won over Sally Brand in a close selection and comes as part of Dean Pinchpenny’s campus wide plan for resident housemothers by fall.

Vandals damage Marionette workshop at Dick Secammon's studio

Portrait of Mr Day in oils presented to University of Richmond

Casey O Tooley, noted South artist, paints a portrait of Mr Day custodian of the Hammer at University of Richmond. The work, in oils on an oval bread board, will be hung in the main boiler room arcade beside the artist. Mr Day admired the finished piece and joked about being done in oils.
