Wm F Wargowsky manager of Boyden Co operative Creamery won first place in the national butter sweepstakes at the National Buttermakers Convention in Minneapolis on November 4 1930 He took top honors for butter stored and stored and for best fall butter with a score of 94 58 He received a white gold loving cup and wrist watch The victory credits local creamery patrons for supplying high quality butterfat and promises top prices on the New York market for Boyden Creamery patrons.

Christmas Program at Town Hall Scheduled Monday
A community Christmas program will be held Monday evening December 22 at the town hall. Town organizations are asked to contribute one act each and others may join the program. Notify Mrs. Bolstad by December 15 to be included in the Reporter.
Daley and Dulcie Three Act Comedy At Orange City
The Orange City Woman's club presents a two play Thanksgiving program in Science Hall. Daley a three act comedy leads with a woman who talks too much and helps her husband. Doors open 7:00 pm with shows at 8:00 pm admission 50 cents and 25 cents. The event is a key feature of the Orange City Home Talent Lecture and Entertainment Course drawing large Sioux County crowds.
