George residents fear six mile state road near George could be surfaced with blacktop Lyon county favored paving Governor Krashal backs road surfacing critics say blacktop is costly long term and inferior to paving moving away from horse and buggy era.
Agro gasoline patrons of the Boyden Farmers Co operative Association report car mileage increases from 5 to 10 percent by using the blend. Others say engine temperature is reduced and engines run more quietly. The alcohol blend uses the same high flash content as before.
Local passenger agent C. E. Maertz announces Sunday March 138th changes to the Milwaukee schedule. Eastbound No 22 moves to 6 20 P M, Westbound No 11 remains 8 54 A M.
