Car Crash Northwest of Boyden Injures Three
Mr and Mrs William Hollander of Boyden and Richard Dickmann of near Hull were in a Sunday afternoon collision northwest of Boyden at an intersection. Mrs Hollander went through the windshield with chest and head injuries, Mr Hollander escaped with bruises, Dickmann suffered a deep cut above the right eye and glass wounds. They were taken to Sibley hospital where the men were dismissed and Mrs Hollander remained for treatment as both cars suffered heavy damage.

Local Instructor At Fred Waring Workshop In Boulder
Fran ces Anderson of Remsen Iowa was hired as vocal instructor for Boyden Public Schools and attended the Fred Waring Workshop at the University of Colorado August 11 16.
