Mr and Mrs Arie M Bomgaars and their son LeRoy were involved in a Denver Colorado auto collision. Their 1957 Chevrolet suffered heavy damage and Mr Bomgaars was seriously injured likely hospitalization for two weeks. Their son Marvin Mert Bomgaars left for Denver. The family, guests of Electrolux Co, were vacationing from Boyden. they had departed last Thursday for a Wyoming resort.

Mrs Andrew Rosenboom remains a patient at Lutheran hospital in Sioux City and is reported to be doing nicely. Richard Burggraaff returned to Rochester Minnesota for a routine check up with his uncle Arne Burggraaff transporting him in a Cadillac. Air conditioning was needed for his condition. Fishing has become Iowa's most popular outdoor sport with over 500000 anglers in 1955, up from about 360000 hunters according to Bob Moorman of Iowa State College.

Newly printed telephone directories will be issued soon to subscribers of the Hull and Boyden exchanges. A large number of changes appear in the book this year, especially in the Hull section. A total of 1700 books was printed for the two towns. The printing of the books was done in the Sioux County Index office.

Expanded Campus Facilities At Northwestern College
Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa expanded facilities this summer adding a new multi purpose auditorium East Campus. The Zwemer Hall library gained a larger Periodicals Room and a Teacher Training Office for a planned four year Elementary Education program. A remodeled Science Hall basement adds a Koffee Kletz student commons. East Campus lighting will allow on campus football and high school games, with Homecoming centered on campus.
