Henry Vande Griend 78 of Hull died suddenly Monday afternoon from a heart attack while on a tractor. Funeral services are Friday April 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hull home and 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church. Rev. H. C. Van Deelen will officiate with interment at Hope Cemetery.

New Boyden Post Office Opens With Mail Delivery Today

The modern facility, built by Ray and wife Mary Smit of Boyden and leased to the U S Post Office Department for 10 years, features contractor Vernon Van Ommeren and government specifications delays. Rep Charles B. Hoeven of Iowa 8th District introduced a House bill to extend the Conservation Reserve Program for three years to December 31 1963. The measure would authorize retiring up to 60 million acres and allow in kind payments in surplus wheat and feed grains for Conservation Reserve rentals.
