The Boyden Hull Senior Band performed at the State Large Group Music Contest in Greattinger Iowa and received a Division III rating. Due to district reorganization the group competed in Class C though often a Class D presence. They played Hall of Fame Concert March and Dublin Holiday Overture and look to grow the instrumental program ahead of Tulip Festival May 20 and Memorial Day services.

Albert Vink 81 of Orange City Iowa died Monday from a heart attack at Sioux Center Hospital Nursing Wing where he had been admitted a week earlier. Funeral services will be held today Thursday at 1 30 p m from the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City.
