Thief Caught After Attempted Heist in Sheldon Stores

Oscar Anderson, once of Iowa, captured by Sheldon marshal Saturday night while attempting to enter Hospers Schaap clothing store from the rear. The prior night Zager Blessing store burglary yielded shoes a shirt and socks, later found on Anderson. He was arraigned before a grand jury in Primghar and faces years at hard labor. He is son of a Hull man and has spent years in the reformatory.

Stockholders Meeting Called for April 1

The stockholders of the proposed new Farmers Bank will hold a meeting next Saturday, April 19 at 2 p m at the Town Hall. Invitations were sent out last Saturday for all to be present. The object is to organize the New Farmers Bank and elect a President and Directors. About $40,000 stock has been solicited.
